Jackson Ballet Company

The Jackson Ballet Company, established in 2001 under the direction of Artistic Director, Lori Ladwig, is a pre-professional ballet company which provides dancers in the Jackson area opportunities to train and perform in a pre-professional environment. The goal of the Jackson Ballet Company is to bring the artistry of dance, set to uplifting music, to the community by performing at local churches, schools, nursing homes and community functions.  With beautiful and tasteful costumes as well as artistic and challenging choreography we strive to encourage our audiences by using the talents and gifts God has given us.

The Jackson Ballet Company consists of about 30 dancers, ages 14 and up.  The Junior Company consists of about 20 members, ages 11 to 14.

The Jackson Ballet Company has performed with the Jackson Symphony, Ballet Magnificat, Grand Rapids Ballet, Broadway Review, as well as various churches and nursing homes throughout the year.  The Jackson Ballet Company’s repertory includes the classic Nutcracker, Freedom, A Christmas to Remember, the Never-ending Christmas, and A Timeless Christmas.
