OWNER & DIRECTOR
Mrs. Lori Ladwig, a native Floridian, has over 25 years of experience in ballet, tap, jazz and gymnastics. She holds a B. A. degree in Performing Arts and Visual Communications.
In Florida, Mrs. Ladwig studied classical ballet at Leonard's School of Ballet, Flager College and the Florida School of Arts. Upon graduation, she studied dance in Lansing, Michigan at Lansing Community College, where she performed with the Lansing Ballet Company and Jazz Repertory.
In 1984, she owned and operated the St. Augustine Dance Studio and Ballet Company. The St. Augustine Ballet Company performed ballets such as Cinderella, The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker. She also choreographed and performed in the annual Days of Spain Celebration for the historic city of St. Augustine.
In 1997-1998, Lori danced with the Greater Lansing Ballet Company, performing in The Nutcracker, Les Sylphides and the 1998 Regional Dance of America in Ann Arbor, MI.
Throughout the years, Lori has continued her studies at various dance seminars, teacher's forums and dance conventions. She also began the Jackson Ballet Company, formed in 2000. The dancers have performed at various churches and community events. Lori and her husband, Steve, have five children, Ashley, Megan, Emily, Tyler and Alec. |
